Dr. Noam Gressel

Dr. Gressel is the founder and CEO of Assif-Strategies and Elysium - Carbon Trade & Investment, a carbon offset development firm, as well as, a Venture Partner at Greylock Partners, a leading American venture capital firm with offices in Israel.
Dr. Gressel earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Environmental Science, Policy & Management at the University of California at Berkeley and a B.Sc. from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dr. Gressel formerly served as Executive Director for the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and as Science Director at the Israel Union for Environmental Defense. He has also served on the General Assembly of the Israel Broadcasting Authority and as Chair of its Oversight Committee.

Ofer Ben-Dov, MES

Mr. Ben-Dov is a renewable energy expert with vast experience conducting feasibility studies, developing environmental business strategies and management systems as well renewable energy and carbon programs. He also serves as CTO of Elysium - Carbon Trade & Investment, an Assif-Strategies subsidiary.
He has a graduate degree in Business Strategies for Renewable Energy and a diploma in Business & Environment from York University, Canada. His research on renewable energy business strategies earned him the prestigious International e7 Sustainable Energy Development Scholarship.
Previously, he served as campaign director for Greenpeace Mediterranean in Israel and was a founding member of The Natural Step in Israel.
Member of the Energy & Agriculture Steering Committee of the Israeli Ministry of National Infrastructure and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Member of the advisory committee of Genova (Genova is developing environmentally friendly methods to generate electricity from biomass).

Arbel Harari

Ms. Harari specializes in strategic environmental analysis, process development and reporting. She works with clients on developing environmental policies, stakeholder dialogue and sustainability reporting based on Global Reporting Initiative standards. Ms. Harari prepared Israel’s first GRI-based environmental reports for the Egged Bus Company, Nesher Cement Industries and Sharon-Laboratories and serves as Assif’s Organizational Stakeholder contact with the Global Reporting Initiative.
Ms. Harari, an Accredited LEED Professional by the US Green Building Council, is currently developing Assif’s green building expertise, with special focus on the LEED standard.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Geography & Communication from Tel Aviv University where she will soon be completing a graduate degree in Geography & Human Environment.

Dr. Gal is an accomplished ecologist, having earned his M.Sc. from Tel-Aviv University and a Ph.D. in Ecology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has broad experience in the design and management of environmental impact assessments, feasibility studies and landscape management. In addition, he has more than 16 years of experience in outreach projects and environmental education.

Limor Spektorovsky-Cohavi

Mrs. Spektorovsy-Cohavi’s professional focus combines environmental policy research as well as life-cycle and sustainability analyses. In this framework she coordinated a multiple stakeholder taskforce on waste management policy, life cycle analysis and public involvement. The project was conducted in collaboration with the Technion Israel Institute of Technology’s Shmuel Neeman Institute for Advanced Studies in Science & Technology
Limor manages environmental strategy development projects with several corporate clients and edits Assif-Strategies’ monthly professional newsletter that provides clients with information about environmental and business topics.
She earned a B.Sc. in Biology from Tel Aviv University and is currently completing a graduate degree in Public Policy at Tel Aviv University.

Ohad Agranat, M.Sc.

Mr. Agranat is an ecology and biotechnology expert with a specialization in organic chemistry and microbiology. Presently he manages GHG reduction projects, renewable energy implementation, and biodiesel research.
Mr. Agranat conducted research on inorganic carbon capture by microorganisms and was part of a research group focusing on organic pigment production from microalgae by the utilization of CO2.
He earned a masters degree in Microalgal Biotechnology at the Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Mrs. Blum (formerly 'White') is an expert on natural capitalism, eco-efficient design, and ISO14001 with over 5 years of previous experience at a large multi-national high-tech company where she led an Eco-Design team and sustainability discussion group.
She completed a BSE in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan and a MBA from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.

Ms. Ganem's professional expertise is in research and policy development, specifically in waste solutions and data analysis. She previously worked for the Research Department of the Bank of Israel.
Ms. Ganem is currently working on environmental management and accounting services.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics & Geography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she is pursuing a Masters degree in Geography & Environmental Management Planning & Policy.

Amitai Wolt

Mr. Wolt is in charge of outreach initiatives, business development, marketing and climate change project development. He has interests in sustainable urban and regional planning practices and cleantech venture opportunities.
He completed a magna cum laude undergraduate degree in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies and was a Neubauer Scholar at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Amitai is pursuing a M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning with a sustainable development focus at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
